Who are we?

Katherine Masiulanis

Member of Interpretation Australia

 

A combined passion for design and storytelling are at the heart of Katherine’s professional practice.  She holds a degree in Industrial Design (Monash University), and is an award winning Registered Landscape Architect of nearly 20 years experience. Besides her site based design work, she has also written several books, including ‘How to Grow a Playspace’ with co-author Elizabeth Cummins of Bricolage Design, published worldwide by Routledge, Taylor and Francis.

Katherine also sits on the National Trust (Victoria) Landscape Reference Group.

 

Katherine listens to places and communities to draw out their stories, and then creatively embeds these narratives in her designs. Her projects are enriched by collaboration with others, including other landscape architects, architects, artists and sculptors, graphic and lighting designers.
